What a charming gem!!! My bestie and I booked this lovely place to celebrate her 40th bday. To say we loved it would be an understatement. Not only is the location in a really cute section, close to Carytown. There is a gorgeous pond in view at the end of the street. The porch is welcoming and a perfect spot for morning coffee. The place is decorated with sophisticated elegance!! Our host were very gracious and accommodated all of our requests. My friend and I kept saying over and over how much we absolutely love this place and are grateful we booked this one! In addition, we absolutely loved both of our beds… And I ended up taking pictures of the name of the sheets and pillows… So I can replicate them at home. Look no further, I highly recommended booking!!

Location was delivered as promised. Excellent location. Walkable to numerous coffee shops, restaurants and microbreweries. Well stocked home and has everything you need for your stay. Would definitely stay again.

The place is quiet, tidy and, warm. The kitchen was my favorite. it was well equipped and beautiful. I especially enjoyed the kitchen as I made some homemade food for my college daughter from University of Richmond. I would, however, say that street parking was somewhat difficult to find late at night.

Sean's house on Rosewood Avenue is a charming house in a lovely neighborhood. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There are nice touches including ample throws for the whole family, blackout draperies and lots of lovely house plants.
Sean gave me a list of restaurants that we might try which was very helpful. Cary Street is nearby and is a great neighborhood for dining and shopping.
I definitely recommend this house for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

You honestly cannot beat this location for the price. It is amazing & we loving walked to carytown exploring and eating! Such a beautiful peaceful spot, I was worried about parking but we had no issues at all! When we come back to Richmond this is the spot we’ll look for first!

I've stayed in the Byrd Lake area before and I love it. It is walkable to Carytown, to Maymont, and I love the lakes. The Airbnb is sweet. We liked the space. It had everything we needed and the instructions for arriving and leaving were easy to understand. I would definitely return here.

Sean is an excellent host. He is extremely responsive and flexible.
The place itself was amazing as well. I was surprised with the amount of amenities available. The kitchen is FULLY equipped. You won’t need to buy nothing. Sean got all kinds of utensils, cookware, and appliances you can think of. It really felt like home. I’ve never seen anything like that.
This a great location… lots of food options and grocery stores within walking distance. If the weather is nice, I recommend you to check the lake. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. It felt safe too.

I had a great stay at Sean's place and enthusiastically recommend it. I will point out 2 things for those with interest. 1 / It's a duplex and the walls are paper thin. The neighbors-- who live there-- were wonderfully quiet. I had no problems at all, but I could see it being a problem. 2/ The bathroom is upstairs, so every time you use it, you have to climb stairs. I say this for older ppl and those with mobility issues. Otherwise, this is one of the nicest & cleanest Air B & B's I've stayed in. Truly great.

The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and Sean is an amazing host. He was super responsive to questions and always very friendly. We recently made two trips to Richmond, in December and in January. We made a point of staying in this place both times, and Sean kindly left the Christmas decorations up for the January trip, at our request. The house is in walking distance to a park with a duck pond, so bring a loaf of bread with you.
